The first piece of advice that I give to every one of my clients, is to start with the end in mind (the end game), embodying a business and personal perspective to reflect the fact that the two are intertwined. Once the business owner is clear on their end game, I will facilitate a process whereby a game plan is generated, key performance measures are set for the business and at regular intervals, actual business performance is reviewed in comparison to the game plan. The key part that I play with my clients is to ensure that the game plan is created and then properly planned, communicated and implemented. Where business performance drifts, I will facilitate with the business owner an action plan to get the performance back on track.
I act primarily for small businesses with turnovers ranging from £50k to £6.5m across a wide range of business sectors, covering Wessex, Thames Valley and the Home Counties. I wear many hats when I help my clients, for example, I’m a tax and business adviser, a virtual finance partner, a business mentor, a strategist, a sounding board and a change management facilitator to name but a few. However, the key point is I have the skills to deliver what my clients need.
In terms of how I work, I offer a practical approach to my clients, listen to their needs and desires, and provide a bespoke service based upon my knowledge and experience gained from over twenty years.
The greatest buzz that I get from what I do is assisting businesses to grow and prosper; to meet the aims and aspirations of their business owners.
